During the Lakme Fashion Week the Minister set about highlighting Mauritius as a destination for Indian youth and the benefits of conducting business against a tropical backdrop

Previous collaborations with designers such as Ranna Gill, whose beautiful creations include maxi dresses in sumptuous tropical-yet-trendy tones, have been very successful. Her ‘resort collection’ was inspired by the plethora of colours on display in Mauritius.

Lakme Fashion Week was a successful venture and many people from around the world, including many celebrities and other fashion designers, are now more aware of Mauritius and the potential for doing business on this jewel in the Indian Ocean.

The Sun Resorts Group collaborates with designers such as Ranna Gill and the actress Yami Gautam to highlight the attraction of the hotels on the island.

The MTPA (Mauritian Tourism Promotion Authority) wishes to promote the island as a fabulous destination for many different business sectors. They are also keen to highlight the special relationship with hotels like le Touessrok and the Sugar Beach, and welcomes artists and ambassadors who work in markets such as India to taste Mauritian splendour. Any dealings with Sun Resorts Hotel group makes for an unforgettable experience, and is certainly an offer you cannot refuse.
