After only nine months of welcoming guests, Long Beach won rave reviews, of the international kind. The famous and very serious Sunday Times Travel didn’t hesitate in according a place to Long Beach in its worldwide list of “100 best hotels”. This coveted list is select and has been the springboard for this five star Mauritian hotel to gain a place in the exclusive exceptional hotel club.
The luxury Mauritian hotel is already a star on the luxury hotel stage. From 2011, Long Beach was proclaimed “Best Resort” by the prestigious Hôtel & Lodge magazine. The French publication that offers a unique view of hotels, private retreats and houses the world over didn’t award the Long Beach the title of “Best Resort” by chance.
For the Resort category of the 2011 edition, Hôtel & Lodge made an initial selection of 25 exceptional hotels the world over, from Vietnam to Brazil. The list was then put before a jury of journalists, photographers and influential readers that awarded the prize of “Best Resort” to Long Beach, five star hotel in Mauritius.
With an almost perfect score of 4.5, Long Beach was awarded the well-known Trip Advisor “Certificate of Excellence”. The tourism giant honours establishments that often receive laudatory commentaries from travellers based on criterion such as hospitality, comfort and services among others.
