On the 7 April, the Royal Mix Night was held at Long Beach Mauritius, the Mauritian musical event of the year. The anthology night welcomed rising star DJ Assad from France as well as David Jay, one of the island’s best DJs.
The fun kicked off at Tides beach restaurant, with a lounge ambiance, VIP area, shisha bar and a buffet featuring Mauritian cuisine. The Royal Mix Night then continued in the wild atmosphere of the Bombora nightclub, making for a great evening for the party people and seasoned clubbers at the Long Beach that night.
Used to Mauritian club nights, DJ Assad wasn’t surprised by the success of his set on the 7 April at the new five star Mauritian hotel. His European chart success in conjunction with his popular TV show “Royal Mix” on NRJ in France have made him very popular in France. Surfing on the success of his numerous singles and his recent album Playground, DJ Assad regularly takes to the decks in cool nightclubs. He has shown his talent at Pacha, the VIP Room, Papagayo, Acapulco, Louise Gallery and Platinum. It was only natural for DJ Assad to grace Long Beach with his presence and keep up a recent tradition of great music at the resort.
Those who have been to Long Beach over the past months will remember the fantastic party nights held at the luxury Mauritian hotel. The New Year was welcomed in with Miss Rox, the famous DJette on France’s answer to MTV ; NRJ 12, who was at Long Beach for a memorable night on the central square. A little later in the year, it was Sabrina Terrance’s turn to take control of the Bombora Nightclub’s dance floor at Long Beach ; the DJette is number 15 in DJ Mag’s Top 50 list.
